Helping Kiwis Fly Award

At the heart of the show is the Giltrap Group Helping Kiwis Fly Award - Fashion Edition, presented in partnership with Giltrap Group. The award recognises one designer selected from the Future of Fashion collective, who has demonstrated that they are moving beyond the early stage of their career and stepping into their next phase of growth. The award reflects a shared commitment to backing the next generation of New Zealand talent with meaningful, long-term support, enabling designers to grow with confidence, both locally and internationally.

Together, NZFW and Giltrap Group offer the Helping Kiwis Fly - Fashion Edition award winner access to mentorship, industry networks, financial support, and the tools required to build a sustainable business. The award also includes a vehicle sponsorship with Škoda, helping the recipient navigate the demands of a growing brand while continuing to build momentum beyond the runway.

The inaugural award was presented to Rebe Healy of REBE, whose work reimagines modern womenswear with clarity and confidence.
