The Keep Presents a Fashion Show at Goblin Bar

SATURDAY 30 AUGUST
4:00PM & 5:00PM

GOBLIN BAR 134 PONSONBY ROAD

An immersive showcase of experimental fashion, jewellery, and textile art unfolds as Goblin presents The Keep — a collaborative presentation from the resident designers of The Keep, a creative stronghold founded by Lela Jacobs.

Nestled on Karangahape Road’s West End, The Keep houses a curated collective of thoughtful makers and artists whose practices explore form, tactility, and sustainability across disciplines.

This show brings together a constellation of distinctive voices, each offering a perspective in the unfolding conversation around materials, meaning, and making.

Featured Designers

Lela Jacobs

A hands-on designer and founder of The Keep, Lela Jacobs is deeply committed to slow, local manufacturing and zero-waste principles. Her work honours the integrity of textiles and the ecological stories woven into each garment. She presents new works that continue her longform dialogue with minimalism, environmental respect, and quiet form.

Wilbur Hsu (徐鴻恩)

A maker working at the intersection of fashion and memory, Wilbur conjures delicate impressions of lineage, loss, and belonging. His works with cloth and precious metals reimagine heritage through soft silhouettes and intricate detail. Each piece a meditation on identity, recognition, and time. His NZFW collection is dedicated to his late mother, Yu-Tai Lee (李育台) and honours her spirit alongside those who have come before - a quiet thread of the past gently woven into the present.

Grace Norsworthy (Orswo)

Orswo is the jewellery practice of Grace Norsworthy, whose background in Industrial Design meets a passion for the handmade. Her jewellery is a playful network of linked knuckles and glinting stones—tactile, elegant, and joyfully assembled. The work reflects a love of connection, friendship, and the pleasure of making.

Shannen Young

A multidisciplinary artist working across jewellery, fashion, and textile-based adornment, Shannen’s work is guided by intuition and play. Crafted at her Keep bench, her tactile pieces dissolve boundaries between object and accessory, costume and sculpture. Her NZFW collection reflects this liminal, fluid spirit.

Julianna Jung (Outerlines)

Outerlines challenges the expectations of garment construction, embracing spontaneity and asymmetry. Julianna’s slow fashion practice explores non-linear pattern-making, creating silhouettes that are sculptural, fluid, and expressive. Her NZFW presentation invites the audience to consider garments as gestures between fabric, body, and imagination.

Annabella Schnabel

A jeweller from Tāmaki Makaurau, her practice draws strongly upon her background in architecture translating ideas from macro-scale buildings into micro-scale objects for the body. Inspired by the duality of organic and structured forms found in both the built and natural worlds, her work reflects a deep sensitivity to material and form. Her German heritage threads through her approach, grounding her practice in a lineage of precision, craftsmanship, and design.
