Timed to align with New Zealand Fashion Week, Kahuria, KNIT offers a full programme of activations and workshops designed to appeal across all generations, celebrating the artistry and sustainability of handmade garments.

KNIT x AMÉLIE: Knit a balaclava with Nat Robb

Learn to make, and take away your very own AMÉLIE’s signature balaclava in this hands-on workshop celebrating natural fibre, creativity, and whakawhanaungatanga.

Kat Aucamp of Goldi presents MATRIX

In this workshop, attendees will learn how to construct a knitted garment without a written pattern, instead using an already loved garment as a frame - outline - matrix to create a new piece. Kat will share their methods of unconventional design and intuitive contemporary patch-working techniques to demystify the process of knitwear design.
