NZFW 2026 Is Confirmed. Bigger & Better Than Ever.

New Zealand Fashion Week returns to Shed 10, Auckland, from 17–22 August 2026.

Following a landmark 2025 event, the dates are set and the momentum is building. This year marks a significant moment for the event, with Government support secured through the Events Boost Fund for the first time in 15 years, alongside the continued backing of Tātaki Auckland Unlimited and presenting partner Giltrap Group.

"We are incredibly proud of what we achieved in 2025, establishing the perfect foundation to continue to evolve the event and look at more ways where we can have a positive impact on the industry and New Zealand as a whole,"

- Liam Taylor, Executive Director of New Zealand Fashion Week.

The 2025 event set a strong benchmark. Over 4,600 public tickets sold, 5.5 million social media views across the event week, and a measurable lift in consumer spending across Auckland's CBD. Designers including Karen Walker and adidas, Kathryn Wilson, Zambesi, Claudia Li, and Juliette Hogan brought the Shed 10 programme to life across six days.

The Events Boost Fund, a one-off $10 million contestable fund administered by the Government, is designed to increase international visitation and drive economic activity through the growth and promotion of events. For NZFW, it represents an opportunity to amplify the event's reach, both domestically and internationally, across designers, media, industry, and guests.

"This is one of several exciting events the Government is supporting in 2026," says Tourism and Hospitality Minister Louise Upston. "These events will bring fans, visitors, and a big boost to New Zealand's economy."

The 2026 programme will build on what was established in 2025, bringing together established designers, emerging talent, and the wider creative industry through runway shows, immersive experiences, and industry conversations.
