As one of the most anticipated shows on the New Zealand Fashion Week schedule, this year's cohort of promising design stars are here to stake their claim as the next generation of fashion leaders.
Included in this thoughtful curation are the graduate collections from some of Aotearoa's leading fashion design schools: Otago Polytechnic, Massey University and Whitecliffe Fashion Tech.
Taking place on the main runway at NZFW's new home of Shed 10, the Graduate Collections is a celebration of the country's emerging design talent and the tireless work of their tutors to prepare them for a future in the fashion industry.
From Kate Sylvester to Dayne Johnston at Kowtow, some of New Zealand's leading fashion names have cut their teeth during their early years at some of these beloved institutions. Where would our fashion industry be without the influence and impact of our fashion schools?
Combining creativity and technical prowess, this show is not to be missed.
